| Emirates SkyCargo introduces daily Dubai-Clark International Airport, the Philippines service with Boeing 777-300ERs beginning October 1. This is Emirates second Philippines destination after Manila. Clark International is 80 km north of Manila in Central Luzon. This is one of the growth regions in the Philippines and is host to the country’s premium economic zones, the Clark Freeport Zone and Subic Bay Freeport Zone. This will offer destinations to American customers out of San Juan, Puerto Rico, placing it codes on Seaborne San Juan-Dominica, -Fort-de-France, -Martinique, -Pointe-a-Pitre, -Guadeloupe, -Tortola, -British Virgin Islands, -Vieques and -Virgin Gorda flights.
WestJet Encore launches service today with Calgary-Nanaimo and Victoria-Vancouver flights.
Jet Airways began daily Kochi-Abu Dhabi-Kuwait Boeing 737NG service.
TAME Línea Aérea del Ecuador began daily Quito-Guayaquil-Lima-Buenos Aires service.
Bmi Regional began 1X-weekly Bristol-Corsica. It also just launched Bristol-Verona service.
UTair began Boeing 737-500 1X-weekly Surgut-Belgorod and –Lenkoran service.
Ethiopian Airlines began 4X-weekly Boeing 787 Addis Ababa-Seoul service.
Kenya Airways will begin 3X-weekly Nairobi-Blantyre service August 2. It also will double its Nairobi-Jeddah flights to 4X-weekly for the Hajj season September 3-November 10.
