Air France to launch double daily service to Tokyo Haneda

Air France plans to increase its presence in Japan by adding flights to Tokyo Haneda from March 30, 2014.

Air Seychelles returns to Europe

Air Seychelles, which halted all services to Europe two years ago, will return to the continent with plans to beef up its regional network as part of what it describes as a “significant expansion” of its international schedules.

British Airways details A380 and 787 plans for 2014

British Airways (BA) plans to deploy its Airbus A380s on its London Heathrow-Washington service from next year, while its Boeing 787s will be rolled out on Calgary, Chengdu, Hyderabad and Philadelphia routes.

Jetstar boosts Adelaide operations with new crew, aircraft base

Low-fare Qantas subsidiary Jetstar will establish a new cabin crew and pilot base in Adelaide next year to help it increase its presence in South Australia.

Delta Air Lines will add new Seattle-Tacoma service next year: 4X-daily to San Diego June 2 and 4X-daily Portland, Ore. Sept. 2 to be flown by SkyWest Airlines’ CRJ-900s; one Boeing 737-800 additional summer flight to Anchorage will be added June 5.  
Vueling will re-introduce Airbus A320 Barcelona-Budapest 3X-weekly summer service from June to September 2014.  
TAP Portugal will begin 3X-weekly Lisbon-Manaus-Belem-Lisbon service in June 2014.  
Atlantic Airways begins 2X-weekly Faroe Islands-London Stansted summer service June 5.  
Monarch Airlines will launch 2X-weekly Birmingham, UK-Hurghada service for summer 2014.  
Austrian Airlines will begin 5X-weekly Vienna-Newark Boeing 767 service July 2, 2014. Also a Boeing 777 will replace Boeing 767 on daily Vienna-Washington DC service from July 1. In May, the carrier increases Vienna-Chicago service to daily from 5X-weekly.  
Air France is planning Airbus A380 Sao Paulo-Paris CDG service in 2014. It also will begin Boeing 777-300 service on its daily Paris-Rio de Janeiro flight.  
Airberlin will offer three additional flights Berlin-New York JFK in summer 2014 for a total of 10X-weekly service. Also 10X-weekly Dusseldorf-New York JFK will be resumed for summer.
